Environmentally-friendly materials

LWG leather

We work with certified Leather Working Group tanneries. This certification ensures compliance with European regulatory standards and the application of advanced environmental measures during the tanning of leather and the production of finished products.

Chrome free

80% of the world's leather is chrome-tanned. We are very sensitive to this use and carry out systematic tests at our partner suppliers to guarantee the maximum authorised acceptance threshold. To take our approach a step further, we ensure that as much leather as possible that comes into direct contact with the skin (lining, soles) is ‘Chrome Free’, i.e. from a tanning process free of heavy metals.

Packaging

To comply with the French Environment Code, we display the Triman logo on all our packaging. This signage is a regulatory requirement to inform consumers that the product or packaging must not be thrown away in the residual household waste bin, but must be sorted or taken to a collection point.
